III. TELEPHONE SETUP AND TROUBLESHOOTING
An extension firstly activated using programming at server room. The appointed TN number (cabinet number) where it has been activated then patch (connected) to the next cabinet where the cable should go to user. Usually the cable goes to communication room at the appointed building first before it goes to the user. All testing can be done at this point to make sure there is tone to indicate that the signal has successfully been transmitted. No tone indicates that somehow somewhere before that point is disconnected.
